Wireless Security Corp. has announced the availability of an update to its WSC Guard software. The update provides WPA – advanced wireless security protection – automatic updates, fast administration, clientless guess access, and a built-in network selection tool.

Wireless Security offers WSC Guard free of charge to connect to wireless networks in WPA Pre-Shared Key mode and a subscription service offers higher level of security.

In addition, new features such as clientless guest access and fast administration help Wi-Fi network managers to easily and securely share their networks.

“Wi-Fi security has become a hot topic for consumers, businesses, and the media,” said Stu Elefant, vice president of marketing at Wireless Security Corporation.

“On March 19th, The New York Times ran a front page story on Wi-Fi security. Our product fills a gaping hole in Wi-Fi products — it allows consumers to easily take advantage of the full security of their wireless networks without buying complicated server hardware and software.”
