SurfControl Partners With Global Knowledge to Provide New Customer Training Courses

SurfControl (LSE: SRF), the global leader in Internet protection, today announced a partnership with Global Knowledge, the largest privately held provider of training and enterprise learning services for information technology, to offer new Web-based and classroom training courses to SurfControl customers. Courses will include detailed administrator training for SurfControl´s Web Filter, E-mail Filter, and Enterprise Threat Shield products.

“By partnering with Global Knowledge, SurfControl will be able to deliver top-of-the line training courses to maximize the value customers receive from our products,” said Bill Brannan, Vice President, Technical Services at SurfControl. “Armed with the added product technology and Internet security information provided by the new courses, users will gain the peace of mind that comes with knowing their SurfControl solutions are working to their full potential.”

The new SurfControl training courses offered by Global Knowledge will be available to U.S. customers beginning in August. Courses will also be offered to European customers later this year. Users will be able to purchase and schedule courses through the SurfControl Web site and through SurfControl sales representatives, as well as through SurfControl channel partners. Customers can also purchase courses directly through Global Knowledge.
