StorePerform Launches Workbench

StorePerform has announced the debut of Workbench 4.0, the latest version of the company´s widely-used suite of store execution management software for retailers. Workbench 4.0 introduces the industry´s first Process Scheduler module that enables retailers to optimally analyze and manage store workload so that sales associates can spend more time on the sales floor with customers.

Process Scheduler, developed with input from StorePerform´s leading retail customers, combines real-time visibility into store operations, inventory and labor processes with automatic algorithms to deliver multi-level prioritization and precise project scheduling.

A component of the Process Scheduler – Workload Calculation Engine – customizes workload schedules to each store location, by incorporating unique labor standards information into the formula.

The Process Scheduler can also evaluate and forecast for a wide range of variables through the use of ´what-if´ scheduling. This unique feature allows retailers to plan for any potential scenario.

Additional enhancements to StorePerform Workbench 4.0 software´s core modules, Task Manager, Feedback Manager and Workload Optimizer, boast more power and versatility than ever, ultimately enabling retailers to return their attention to prioritizing and solving store-level issues rather than wasting hours identifying potential problems. The addition of Process Designer to the Task Manager module allows best-practice templates to be defined by non-technical business managers.

In addition, Feedback Manager now allows all users, from store associates to district and corporate managers, to analyze feedback by project name, date, and department, speeding access to critical information. The updated Workload Optimizer now enables managers to optimize the workforce by more easily matching store workloads to available work capacity levels through enhanced change authority capabilities.

StorePerform Workbench is available on the IBM AIX running WebSphere and DB2, in addition to existing support for BEA WebLogic and SQL Server on the Microsoft platform.
