PertMaster, a provider of project risk and analysis software for Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) environments has today revealed that it has become a Microsoft Certified Partner with ISV/Solutions Competency; adding to its already existing Primavera Technology Partner accreditation.

“Project managers using Microsoft Office Project and Primavera form a growing and innovative majority of our user contingent among the 5,000 projects worldwide using PertMaster for project risk and analytics management,” said Sarim Khan, CEO of PertMaster. “Our team have worked hard to add Microsoft to our existing Primavera accreditations. Both have high standards and we are delighted to have achieved these prestigious competencies.”

Karl Noakes, Director of the Partner Development Group at Microsoft, said, “To obtain Certified Partner status with the ISV/Software Solutions Competency, PertMaster has undergone lengthy and extensive training to ensure that it has all the right skills needed to deliver the most effective technology solutions to enhance its customers´ businesses.”

Dean Edmundson, Director Technology Alliances, Primavera Systems, Inc., said, “Our customers operate within very tight margins and risk analysis solutions like PertMaster enable them to identify and mitigate risks before project delivery and cost are affected.” He added, “we´re continuing to work closely with Pertmaster on integrating new project and portfolio risk tools for Primavera users.”

PertMaster can be added to Microsoft Office Project and Primavera by users to simulate project performance and to present an evaluation of the likelihood of finishing on time or within budget. This gives project managers the benefits of being to submit realistic and profitable proposals for new projects, improve focus on high risk or bottleneck activities, avoid over optimistic schedules and mitigate penalties related to late project delivery. It also enables project managers to improve project cost forecasting and improve communication through the use of clear graphical expressions of risk and the use of “pessimistic” and “optimistic” views.

PertMaster is a company enjoying very rapid growth. In November 2005, it ranked Number 7 in the 2005 Deloitte Technology Fast 50, a ranking of the UK´s 50 fastest growing technology companies in the London & Southern Region. Rankings are based on average percentage revenue growth over five years, from 2000-2004. PertMaster grew 911% percent during this period.
