Internet Security Systems, the provider of pre-emptive enterprise security, has announced the opening of its EMEA support centre in Brussels, Belgium. The EMEA support centre, which will be located within ISS’ EMEA headquarters, will enable the company to provide support to customers throughout the region in their local language.
The launch of the EMEA support centre will transpire over two phases. The first phase includes the rollout of language support for all English, German and Italian customers. The second phase, which will take place in Q1 2007, will add French, Dutch and Spanish language support.
“The expansion of our technical support services demonstrates our continuous commitment to improve the way we serve our customers and raise the bar on what can be expected from our technical support operations,” said Sally Foster, vice president of worldwide customer support at Internet Security Systems. “Currently, the EMEA support centre will serve the needs of our EMEA customers. In the future we are planning to develop a ‘follow the sun model’ where the EMEA support centre will serve as one of five support centres throughout the world.
The EMEA support centre is the third support centre to be opened by ISS. The company plans to open two additional centres in Latin American and Asia Pacific in 2007.
