Beep Science and Trolltech team up on Open Standard DRM for Linux OS

Beep Science, a leading provider of DRM technology based on the Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) standard, and Trolltech, the company that makes software faster to build and easier to use, today announced pre-integration of Beep Science’s Digital Rights Management (DRM) with Trolltech’s Qtopia application platform. The solution enables device manufacturers to quickly deploy an open, industry standard OMA DRM on the leading Linux-based application platform.

Beep Science’s DRM fully supports all copyright protection requirements in Linux enabled mobile devices, as well as interoperability requirements between devices and the operators’ OMA DRM enabled services.
