AirDefense and Trapeze Networks announced they have signed an agreement to provide a new integrated security solution that will provide customers with a single integrated view of their network and helps mitigate wireless potential security risks.

The new security solution integrates AirDefense’s wireless intrusion detection and intrusion protection systems with Trapeze’s wireless network mobility system, enhancing network control, management and security of wireless networks.

“The partnership allows Trapeze customers to manage issues as simple as modifying network security policy or as complex as quarantining stations that have been phished to an attacker´s laptop” said Anil Khatod, CEO and president of AirDefense.

“These new capabilities offer customers the ultimate in intrusion protection, fully integrated with the Trapeze Mobility System. Automated management, event correlation, compliance monitoring and advanced analytical tools make it easy to manage and secure networks at scale. That´s a compelling combination,” said Jim Vogt, CEO of Trapeze.
